Now, I’m liking this. It doesn’t look like Skybet have updated their odds and I’ve just checked this morning and they are still offering the bet. The Dragons are no where near as bad as everyone thought them to be and if they win a winnable game up in Borders tonight then this bet looks all the more tasty.

Last year we finished 30 points behind the eventual winners, Ulster. We have a stronger team, and more importantly, a better attitude than last year and if we pick up the odd losing bonus points away and take advantage of us not having to commit teams to the HEC like our league counterparts have to then I can see this bet running very close.

9/1 is huge.

doc said...: Noticed on that handicap bet that they are offering each way as well - which presumeably means +28pts from 3rd place at 1/4 odds.

So even if you think someone will run away with teh league, there is still value at over 2:1 that they finish within 28 of 3rd place; 5:59 AM
